PAULAS CHOICE FOUNDATION
I recently ordered 5 different products from Paula’s Choice! I was very happy with her prices. At the end of my shopping I was given free shipping because my order was a little over $50 so I got to pick out three samples for free (love the surprise freebie!) Now I can try before I buy, very cool! You can actually buy as many samples as you would like to try for 50 cents to 1 dollar. My over all shopping trip was really fun and easy. I think Paula’s Choice has some great feature perks, consistent running sales that really keep her customers coming back! The best thing about Paulas Choice products is the quality! Honestly the packaging is not frilly, young, pink, and hip; but it’s the product ingredient quality that she delivers with ease!
I have been reading Paula Begoun books like: Don’t Go to the Cosmetics Counter Without Me (Don’t Go to the Cosmetic Counter Without Me) since I was young and learned a great deal from her advice and life long hygienic tips! I just wish I would have followed her expert advice to the T, maybe I wouldn’t have any scars. I must say I trust Paula Begouns knowledge but I just didn’t think that my skin would conform to anything. I have been looking for a foundation for the summer and decided to try her All Bases Covered Foundation. The reviews on all her products are really good, but what I look for is what I can relate with and I found several different people who were worried about shine, thickness, tackiness, seeping into pores. I read results like: soft and supple, not thick and tacky, and did not settle in, in addition -this is incredible coverage. It is hard for people with problematic skin to find a foundation that creates a super soft natural appearance. Usually to get full coverage and cover all the flaws you have a little bit of the cakey build up.
I don’t have perfect skin, this makeup helps to even it out.
I have now been wearing the All Bases Covered Foundation by Paula’s Choice for a few days now and I am absolutely loving it. I have tried maybelliene, loreal, almay, cover girl, neutrogena, well most drugstore foundations and this just doesn’t even compare. I feel like I am caring for my skin. The look and feel is equally soft and smooth.
I picked the color ‘sand’. It is for normal/dry skin and I have oily skin, but I did think this through. Here’s why: I also ordered Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliant and because it has a little higher percentage of salicylic acid (which btw: Paula has explained before ~that you want 2% or higher salicylic acid in order for it to make a significant difference). I use the BHA liquid once in the morning with a cotton ball leaving it on for 20 minutes before I apply the All Bases Covered Foundation. What a match, these two work together amazing! If you have oily or combination skin this combo will balance your tone, shine, and give you an over all younger looking face. I am really really happy with these products. I have used foundations that build up and get gross or won’t absorb or do not mesh with my moisturizer and it’s a pain to apply. I don’t mind putting on my makeup, it’s easy and fast with the liquid exfoliant and the all bases covered foundation.
Summed Up: All Bases Covered Foundation by Paula’s Choice creates a smooth soft appearance. It is fragrance free and just smells very gentle. It is non irritating, non pore clogging and best of all stays put and keeps the look I started with all day. It gives a nice dewy appearance, I haven’t used a powder over it yet that’s how much I like it, because I almost always use a powder over liquid foundation.
